Who will be the Next Arsenal Manager ?
THOMAS TUCHEL is the favourite with to become the next Arsenal Manager.
Following Arsene Wenger’s shock announcement on Friday morning the bookies installed Thomas Tuchel as the 3/1 favourite to replace him, or there’s a 6/1 chance that Patrick Vieria’s expertise is called upon.
Joachim Low is fancied next in the betting at 7/1, with 9/1 on offer Max Allegri leaves Juventus for North London. Brendan Rodgers is rated as a 12/1 shot for a return to the Premier League.
Wenger also guided the Londoners to 20 successive seasons in the Champions League, while their Premier League success in 2003-04 came in a season when they were unbeaten in 38 league games.
And, having been asked about his future on a consistent basis for much of the past couple of seasons, Wenger has finally announced that he will step down, with Arsenal vowing to put a new man in place as soon as is possible.
An official club statement from Wenger read: “After careful consideration and following discussions with the club, I feel it is the right time for me to step down at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, majority shareholder Stan Kroenke paid tribute to Wenger and vowed to try to build on the legacy left at the club by the Frenchman.
He added: “We have high ambitions to build on Arsene’s remarkable tenure and to honour his vision by ensuring that Arsenal competes for and wins the biggest and most important prizes in the game.”
