GARETH BALE could depart Real Madrid this summer for a return to the Premier League according to Ladbrokes.
After being benched in Real’s Champions League tie against PSG, the bookies have cut Bale’s odds into 6/4 that he leaves Madrid during the summer transfer window.
Manchester United are the 2/1 favourites to secure his services should his time be up in Spain, or there’s 4/1 on offer he rejoins Spurs. City are fancied at 8/1 or it’s 10/1 he heads to west London to play in front of the Stamford Bridge crowd.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It feels like Bale’s time in Madrid is coming to an end. Despite the astronomical wages on offer, it’s hard to see him putting up with life on the bench, making a return to the Premier League seem inevitable, with Mourinho and Pochettino ready to battle it out for his signature.”
